Information We Collect
Information you provide
We may collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, profile details, trip plans, saved places, budgets, receipts, notes, documents, and support messages.
Information collected automatically
We may collect device information, app usage data, diagnostics, crash reports, approximate location or precise location when you grant permission, and interactions with features such as maps, AI planning, voice, translation, and receipt capture.
How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve Kiqora.
- Create itineraries, recommendations, maps, budgets, and saved-place collections.
- Respond to support requests sent to support@kiqora.com.
- Detect abuse, debug issues, and keep the service secure.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Local Storage and Sync
Kiqora is designed around your trips and travel data. Some information may be stored locally on your device. If account sync, cloud features, backups, or third-party integrations are enabled, relevant information may be processed by our service providers to provide those features.
Third-Party Services
Kiqora may use third-party services for maps, place search, AI planning, analytics, diagnostics, payments, hosting, currency conversion, translation, and communication. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
Services we use and what they see
- Trips, expenses, documents, receipts and photos are backed up to Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage) so they sync across your devices.
- When you share a trip, people with the invite link, including guests without an account, can view and edit that trip's plan and expenses until the owner removes them.
- PostHog for product analytics (app events tied to an account ID). We don't sell data or track you across apps.
- Sentry for crash reports (device model, OS version, stack traces).
- Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We receive a receipt to unlock Pro or a Trip Pass, never card details.
- Voice, translation, receipt scanning and AI planning send the audio, image or text to OpenAI for processing. It isn't used to train their models.
- Delete your account in Settings → Delete account or at kiqora.com/delete-account. This erases your cloud data immediately; backups clear within 30 days.
Your Choices
- You can manage app permissions such as location, camera, microphone, and notifications in your device settings.
- You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information by contacting us.
- You can opt out of marketing emails by using unsubscribe links where provided.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Kiqora is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date above and post the revised version on kiqora.com.
